Position
We are seeking a creative mind who welcomes opportunities to work individually, as well as a leader and individual contributor, on our leadership team. The Senior Inventory Manager will oversee projects from end-to-end, specializing in inventory management. The Senior Inventory Manager will work together with the team of Regional Project Managers to drive projects to successful completion. On-site GEBM Inventory Receivers and GEBM Senior Inventory Managers are responsible for completing processes that ensure inventory accuracy, effective inbound inventory control and audit-activated activities continue to support shipping and receiving requirements. They are also expected to develop and maintain a consistent training program to check that all members of the Inventory department follow and utilize standard operating procedures.
GEBM Senior Inventory Managers should have working knowledge of safety regulations and know how to ensure policies are met and maintained on-site amongst their team of Green Earth Inventory Receivers.
GEBM Senior Inventory Managers will also be expected to communicate updates, issues and needs effectively via email and in-person, in additional to driving problem-solving and root cause analysis efforts throughout the duration of projects.
Job Responsibilities
Below is a list of primary responsibilities a Senior Inventory Receiver would expect in their day-to-day. It is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. - Lead inventory management efforts: GEBM Senior Inventory Managers are expected to develop, document, maintain and oversee that inventory best practices and standard operating procedures are followed on-site by all direct reports and provide effective coaching when needed. They will also ensure routine quality control of all inventory-related tasks for assigned projects.
- Work responsibly and with accountability: GEBM Senior Inventory Managers are subject matter expert for all software and hardware that GEBM uses for admin/inventory procedures. They also provide effective coaching when needed and are available for in-person or virtual training.
- Customer Service and Maintaining Relationships: GEBM Senior Inventory Managers are expected to exhibit excellent customer service to client representatives as a representative of Green Earth, including resolving client issues or responding to client requests as soon as possible or by communicated deadlines.
- Team Lead Development: GEBM Senior Inventory Managers must track growth and development of GEBM inventory personnel under your supervision. This includes helping inventory team members create and follow their personal growth plans; identify their strengths and development areas. A primary responsibility is also completing all required paperwork or review/approval processes (receipts, timesheets, expenses, etc.) across various mediums and software systems for all direct reports assigned to you.
Are you who we are looking for?
Qualified applicants should hold the following:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data entry, logistics planning/operations. or software-based inventory management
- Possess superior task, resource and time management abilities.
- Exemplary problem-solving skills that help to identify defects and shortcomings.
- Ability to communicate business-related and general information efficiently in verbal and written formats.
- Excellent math, organizational, and computer skills required; Microsoft Office (primarily Outlook and Excel) and SharePoint software
- Active industry certifications for OSHA 10, AWP, warehouse/industrial forklift and/or scissor lift
The Location
Travel is required. Work sites are out-of-state and at the request of our clients. The Senior Inventory Manager should expect to be away from home for up to three (3) months at a time. GEBM covers all travel costs for flights, lodging, rental cars.
Team members should expect to be scheduled for work as per client/customer needs. This may include work weeks more than forty (40) hours, weekend and/or overnight shifts.

The ideal candidate will learn and comply to GEBM operating procedures and best practices for all types of work, including but not limited to administrative/computer and inventory procedures/procedures.

They may be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions. Noise levels may be high when operating power equipment. Employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions when transporting materials. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds and be able to use appropriate support equipment to lift and move greater amounts. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee is required to use properly use such safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or others.
Compensation and Payroll Schedule
Senior Inventory Managers are a salary exempt position. GEBM operates on a weekly pay schedule and adheres to all local and federal tax policies. Team members are also eligible for a per diem when located at on-site (away from home) projects.

Project Manager Job Description
- Responsibility and accountability:
Create a project plan using best practice PMO methodology to deliver within budget and achieve the client’s desired outcomes. You will be fully accountable for the result of the project, and acts as the driver that holds the project together. The PM leads the project with passion, as if it was his or her own business, and conducts quality control checks for all tasks in projects. They will routinely be expected to manage multiple smaller projects in a focused trade area.
- Project tracking across various mediums: Prepare, maintain and submit clear and concise activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports. The PM should inform all stakeholders of project milestones, regular status updates, as well as manage escalation and change control processes. Additionally, the PM must complete all required paperwork (receipts, timesheets, expenses, etc.) for all teams assigned to you on a daily basis. They must have core computer knowledge and a willingness and ability to master software and hardware that GEBM uses for admin/inventory procedures.
- Building relationships: The PM serves as a role model and GEBM ambassador in promoting good working relationships across a project. The PM exhibits the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among project stakeholders. They are also responsible for tracking the growth and development of GEBM personnel under your supervision, helping team members create and follow their personal growth plans.
- Proactive problem solving: The PM applies a proactive approach in routinely tracking the project progress against their project scope and commitments to drive problem-solving and resolutions.
- 5+ years of experience in construction and previous experience managing construction crews
- Associate degree or higher in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business Administration or a related industry
- Active industry certifications for OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, AWP and warehouse/industrial forklift operation
- Advanced leadership, situational problem-solving, communication and administrative/computer skills
